World Journal of Applied Medical Sciences is an international journal which is peer-reviewed and open-access, its aim being the publication of high-quality research in the fields of biomedical and applied medical sciences. It offers a platform on which clinicians; researchers, academicians and healthcare professionals can publish original research, clinical studies, reviews, case reports and short communications in order to contribute to evidence-based practice and to improvements in public health.

AIMS & SCOPE

The journal concentrates on original research and clinical studies based on solid evidence in the fields of biomedical and applied medical sciences, giving priority to rigorous methodology, ethical research practices, reproducibility, and translational relevance in order to promote medical knowledge, assist in evidence-based clinical practice, and enhance patient and public health outcomes. The research areas covered include, but are not limited to:

PEER REVIEW & ETHICS

All manuscripts are subject to editorial screening and then to a thorough peer review. Editorial decisions are made exclusively on the basis of scientific merit, originality, ethical integrity, and the extent to which they relate to the journal's scope. This Journal follows internationally recognized publication ethics standards such as those established by COPE, ICMJE, and WAME. It is the authors' responsibility to make sure that their submissions are original and do not contain plagiarism or research misconduct.

Content that has been published is given permanent DOIs and is stored in reliable digital repositories (such as the PKP Preservation Network (PN), Internet Archive) to ensure that it can always be accessed.
