Article Processing Charges (APC)

World Journal of Economics, Business and Management is a fully open-access academic journal. To support the high standards of editorial quality, professional peer review, production, online hosting, indexing, and long-term preservation, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to all manuscripts accepted for publication. This ensures that articles are freely accessible worldwide upon publication.

What Does the APC Cover?

The APC contributes toward essential publishing services, including:

  • Editorial screening and initial quality assessment
  • Coordination of peer review
  • Manuscript revision tracking and editorial handling
  • Professional typesetting and formatting
  • Proofing and author corrections
  • DOI registration and online publication
  • Indexing and archiving systems
  • Promotion and distribution of published research

APC Amount

The APC for articles accepted in World Journal of Economics, Business and Management is:

  • USD 50 (Fifty US Dollars)
    (or the equivalent amount in INR 3000)
  • Average time for Review Process 02 to 03 months
  • Average Online Publication time with DOI Number 04 to 06 months

This fee is applied only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and been formally accepted for publication. There are no charges for initial submission or peer review alone.

When to Remit the APC

Authors will receive an official acceptance letter once their manuscript is accepted. At that time, an invoice with the APC amount and payment instructions will be issued.
APC must be paid before the article enters the production phase and is scheduled for publication.

Once the APC has been agreed and invoiced, it will remain fixed for that article, even if WASR Publication updates its general APC policy later.

Waivers & Discounts

WASR Publication supports equitable access to publishing for researchers from across the world. Authors facing financial constraints may request a full or partial APC waiver before or during the submission process. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

For waiver consideration, authors should contact the editorial office with their justification before submission or early in the review process.

Refund Policy

APC refunds are only available before the generation of the acceptance letter. Once an article has been formally accepted:

  • No refunds will be provided if an author withdraws the manuscript after acceptance, whether before publication or after online release.
  • APC is non-refundable in cases of author withdrawal, article retraction due to author error, or other post-acceptance issues.
